Chuck,
As per the Constitution, it's the President's call to change a meeting, but this is intended to be more of an "emergency" situation. I would suggest that you be certain that the Ft. Wayne hamfest (for example) is of sufficient importance to warrant changing any function of the CCARC.  Example: majority of members can't attend, or the meeting location is unavailable. I would suggest that this doesn't meet that criteria, so I wouldn't change the meeting.  It has become known that meetings are always the third Saturday and changing always can cause confusion.

  Greetings and salutations, 

  As most of you are aware as this happens every year. The Fort Wayne Hamfest/State Convention is occuring on the same weekend as our regularly scheduled meeting. In the recent past there has been much discussion as to changing the meeting time or locations when different events come up such as this. Some considerations to think about, if we do change the meeting we probably can only go earlier as the 4th weekend is Thanksgiving weekend. At this point I know of several members that are indeed going and a few yet undecided. I am seeking input on this.
