Indianapolis news-talk radio station WIBC-AM
will move to FM on Jan. 7.

    Emmis Communications began airing Christmas music at noon Monday
on its 93.1 FM frequency, instead of the hip-hop and pop music
format of WNOU-FM.
    In January, the station will become WIBC-FM.
    At that time, the company will program WIBC's current frequency
of 1070 AM with sports talk.
    Emmis Vice President Tom Severino says the change will better
serve their audience.
    The 93.1 FM frequency has a better signal than 1070 AM north of
Indianapolis, particularly at night.
    WIBC carries Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers games, as
well as talk shows with Rush Limbaugh and Greg Garrison.
