One small correction.



The Central Indiana Skywarn net conducted on the 146.97 repeater in 

Indianapolis, plus other linked repeaters, is often referred to as 

the "State Net". This is not the case. The Central Indiana net serves 

the Indianapolis NWS office and only covers the counties in the 

Indianapolis NWS county warning area. You can see those counties on 

the Central Indiana Skywarn repeater map at http://www.w9nws.org/repeater_map.



The other NWS offices that cover Indiana (Chicago, North Webster, 

Wilmington, Louisville, and Paducah) all conduct their own Skywarn 

programs separately from the Central Indiana program and the 

Indianapolis office.
