Hi,
For those who grew up listening to WOWO, 1190, from Ft. Wayne, you'll be 
interested to know that Bob Sievers, morning man for many years and more 
than 50 years at the station passed away Monday. Bob was there when WOWO 
went on with 50KW in the 30s and retired around 1987. He was also a ham 
operator, but I only heard make reference to that one time on the air, 
when he said he wondered what it would be like to call CQ with 50 
thousand watts!
