When was the first FM  radio made for hams?  Was it the Regency HR-2?  When did VHF engineering make their kits?
The first 2 meter FM radio I saw was a Motorla 5-v tube type, and a 30 D mobile that my friend had. that was 1964.
My first 2 meter rig was a Motorla  30-D tube type  2 piece coffin unit with loctal tubes. That was 1966.Phil Snider W9LVY
