[Ccarc] classifieds section on the website

First of all I want to let everyone know that the
http://www.w9vmw.org/feedline directory has been changed to
http://www.w9vmw.org/downloads. The downloads section will have all of The
Feedline Archives, Field Day Pictures, and I am toying around with some
desktop wallpapers for people to download as well.

 

Also, I would like to introduce a new section on the website to help bring
internet traffic in.

Right now I would like to just post classified ads for CCARC Members Only,
this will be a free service to members and if it goes well we will discuss
the growth of this section at a future meeting. If you would like something
put online just send me a picture (640 x 480 Preferred) and a detailed
description and how you want to be contacted and I will get it posted.
Classified items do not have to be amateur radio related; it could be
anything as long as its rated PG so to speak. Remember this is a new section
and don't anticipate that your item will get a lot of publicity right away
but the more items we have on there the more keywords we will have in the
Google database. I will add a few of my things on there in the next week to
give you an idea of what the ad will look like. Also if you have anything on
Ebay send me your username and I will add a syndicated feed from Ebay that
will show your items on our website as well. Do not send me your password
just your username.

 

Within a few months we should have more traffic visiting the website for the
classifieds, then we will see stuff selling more frequently. And as always
questions, comments, and suggestions are always welcome!
