[Ccarc] work session for repeater

Saturday afternoon May 31 and Sunday morning June 1  K9DVL and W9LVY worked on 
amplifiers for the 2 meter repeaters. We checked out several Motorola Micor  mobiles that were 
110 watts each, and found 3 that had problems and 2 that worked.  We checked out two of the base station 110 watt continuous duty amps (the ones with the big heat sinks) and found problems with both of them.   We  changed out the amplifier board from one of the mobiles to the one base station amp (they are nearly identical).  We were getting 100 + watts out of it.  We have some clean up work to do on it, with physical mounting of the big 12 volt leads and making the power control board functional.  Hopefully soon we will have the 147.180 repeater back up to full power of 90 or 100 watts instead of just 10  watts out.
