I was talking with one of the boy scout leaders and they suggested we could pursue forming a venture group for ham radio for boys of ages 14 to 18. It would be under the scout
orginazation, but devoted entirely to ham radio, without the badge requirements, popcorn sales and other requirements. They would send out a letter to the schools to see who is interested and go from there. It would mean a committment of one meeting a week for one year. Is there any interest in our club for people to do this? If 4 hams would committ to doing this they could each take one night a month, or one person could do it every week or
how ever it would work out. They recommend at least two leaders, so one could take over if the first one has a conflict. What do you think?Phil Snider
